Use Your Brain

I'm "on call" tonight as Health Officer for Camp Yunasa, who is here until Sunday. Yunasa is a program for highly gifted children. They came from all over the country to Fenton, Michigan to do intelligent activities.

Copneconic kids do arts n' crafts and jump on a water trampoline and learn what honesty means.

Yunasa has spent their week attending seminars on psychosynthesis and doing yoga.

Fortunately, this makes for an easy night for me. As they're gifted, I'm hoping they won't do ridiculous things like "kick rock to see what will happen" (actual Trailblazer excuse). I haven't treated a single one of them all week. Apparently 10-year-olds within two years of obtaining their doctirates can cure themselves of minor injuries and illnesses.

While I have a minute, I think I'll write a bit about the tone of camp this year.

Well, at the risk of getting sacked anyway, I'll write a sentence.
