Unusual Student Names

Not here to judge. But there have been some interesting ones over the years. The list I've pieced together:

Armani
Nagee
Ja’Christal
ShiTerriona
Windrevawn
Heaven
Jorja
Sa'Taveus
Llyric
Blessing
Jazminique
Safari
O'munek
Victory
Governor
Cherokee
Sha'Fon
Knowledge
Zion

What's crazy is that the more you say these names, and the more often you connect them to a face in your classroom, the less bizarre they begin to seem.

Also, I am learning a ton about the cultural significance of hair. The kids want to give me cornrows. Not sure how that would turn out.

Hmm.

Sorry, Vienna doesn't hold a candle to Knowledge.

I guess we'll need to have another one then.

At what age do you think Knowledge finds out what knowledge means?
