Outfits I would wear in the various fashion eras of my childhood:
K-2: Early 90's Pop
- purple and gold windsuit
- Keds
- leggings with teapots all over them, which I would pair with a giant teapot sweatshirt
- tapered-leg acid washed jeans
- 50 million pairs of overalls
- scrunchies
- TURTLENECKS!!!! Which I now incidentally hate
3-4: The Grunge Scene
- aforementioned Pearl Jam t shirt under giant plaid button-up with gray leggings
- carpenter jeans
- the Calvin Klein jean jacket I got for my 9th birthday. That thing was my pride and joy. Then I lost it at school and was so afraid my mom would punish me that I "ran away" (good story)
- denim skull cap (shut up, it was the mid-90s)
- Vans skater shoes
- socks and sandals
- also had Cranberries and Alanis Morrisette t shirts. I was so alternative.
5: The 70's Return
- those gauzy, brightly-colored button up shirts
- sweater vests and big-collared shirts
- bell bottoms
- plaid skirts
- smiley face and peace sign everything
- shag haircut. Seriously.
6: I'M IN MIDDLE SCHOOOL OMGZ!
- JNCO jeans. I also had a JNCO jean skirt which I would wear with bright purple, sparkly tights. Not sure what I was going for there
- hair clips
- flared stretch (vomit) jeans
7th: Sk8tr (AKA Blink 182 had just become popular)
- Etnies
- short, wide Roxy t shirts from Pac Sun
- studded belts
mid 7th-8th: Abercrombie isn't for old people anymore
- Abercrombie
...and then I went to high school and had to wear a uniform. FIN

I love it when I'm reminded of how old I am.
Ugh. Yea.
AND I want a post on the story of when you ran away.
