A Good List to Make

Today in math class I considered, of course, how much I hate math. I then realized bemusedly that the list of things I love is far longer than the things I hate. I know, shocker - I'm not a total pessimist. Things I like:

Sharpies, large beards, riding in truck beds, organized medicine cabinets, people who are absolutely covered in freckles, finding 5$ in last year's coat, loon calls, blue glass, interestingly-shaped snow drifts, olive oil, steno pads, barbershop quartets, after-school snacks, tire swings, cellar doors, gherkins, handmade paper, 7-11s, little red wagons, hanging plants, steamer trunks, cattails, storks, boat docks, the Greek alphabet, Capri Suns, matches, bleached arm hair, train-flattened pennies, French horns, alleys and vacant lots, billiards, crows, the Stanley Cup, the Thumb, ducklings, water skiing, typewriters, wheelbarrows, sausage and syrup, wellingtons, crayons, mowing the lawn, handwritten tests, clotheslines, letter-writing, full eyebrows, professors, fire-roasted hot dogs, Alice in Wonderland, tin foil, belfries, brick streets, drawbridges, toads, Breyer horses, snowsuits, pond hockey, talismans, waves, shopping carts, Xacto knives, dumbwaiters, Reeses Puffs, yearbooks, Montesorri schools, adobe houses, giraffes, blocks, porches, chalk dust, varsity sweaters, Winston Churchill, nooks and crannies, hay, mohair, tigers, different ways of saying "hello", grand pianos, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Irish things, the lost-and-found, crossing paths, cardinals, "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Percy Sledge, candlesticks, hourglasses, cherries, old Hollywood, tile floors, walking the nose, gibberish, bald babies, Sprite, local flair, humming, Polaroids, Wacky Wednesday, Sit and Be Fit, 90s rap.

I suggest starting one of these, it is uplifting.
