My new boss (at my REAL JOB) has one of those weird souvenir bells on her desk. It says "Leave me alone, I'm crabby" on it and sports a picture of a crab.
This really made me think.
What is the point of those bells, anyway?
It's not like a collector shot glass, or a back-scratcher, or something that is actually functional. It's a small, cheap, bell. What, are you going to ring it and announce to the world that you've been to Cedar Point? Or, in Boss Lady's case, to signify that you're crabby?
One of the world's great mysteries. Along with slow-walking people on college campuses.

I think they're warning bells.
If people have them, you know not to date them.
