Holy Schnikes!

Approximately 10 minutes ago, I happened to glance out my window and saw a huge tree blow over onto some one's maroon Jeep. The tree took out about three power lines. Then, just a few minutes later, a smaller branch fell, nearly taking out a gaggle of gawking, drunken frat boys.

These are the kinds of goings-on that make me like to pretend I believe in god - that is, the type of god in Monty Python movies (or the Old Testement) who's always wasting people with humorous things like lightening bolts and plagues of locusts.

Somewhere, someplace, a bearded elderly man is finally smiting the fraternities.

Take that, bean dip!

I guess Fenton and Potterville were 2 of the hardest hit areas in Michigan. The tornado ripped through about 1 1/2 miles or so from our house. We had debris in our front lawn when I did leave to go to work. It was scarier after I knew how close it all was! :(
