Our beloved plant succumbed to the nematodes today after a long fight. We laid him to rest in the dumpster and, despite the random shouts of obscenities from open dorm windows, had a nice service in his memory.
The corner of 313 is now vacant. All that remains of Sparticus is his apron and bow tie. We have a small pot of daisies, but they cannot compare to Sparticus's splendor and oxygenating abilities.
We remember Sparticus - the plant, the personality, the legend.

What are nematodes?
we should write obituaries for a living- i recently received an A on my obituary assignment in my journalism class, and yours is brilliant.
Haven't you seen "Doug" Boges?
Ah, the uncultured youth of today.
Yes I have seen "Doug"... but it was on when I was in elementary school so it does not count because I do not really remember much.
Is there an echo in here?
And if you don't remember it, it doesn't count.
Is it wrong I had a crush on Patty Mayonaisse?
Remember when Doug went Disney in 1998 and sucked from there on out?
I do remember the movie, infact I had the VHS, but now I do not know where it is... darn, there was something about nematodes in it.
What movie?
Yeah, wasn't Skeeter (what a tragically funny name) a genius or something? Or was the the old one?
The new one couldn't hold a torch to the old one.
