Fun Fact One
So, today I have been uber thirsty. I've already chugged three whole Nalgenes and two glasses of milk and I'm still parched.Naturally, I Googled this strange phenomenon and learned that excessive thirst is often an indicator of hyperglycemia, or super high blood sugar. I've been shoving my face with candy for 48 hours straight. You learn something new every day!
Fun Fact Two
At age 10, Wayne Gretzky had 378 goals and 120 assists in an 85-game season. That means he scored approximately 4.5 goals per game.Can you imagine being the parents of a kid with that kind of talent? I feel like it wouldn't even be exciting to watch him anymore. And honestly, wouldn't you feel kind of stupid cheering for Wayne Gretzky? I mean, it's not like he exactly needs the extra encouragement. If I were Wayne's parents, I would have given back and adopted a couple of goony defensemen and a goalie to root for.

A ten year-old was playing an 85 game season?
Apparently so. I've never had a season 70+, but he WAS playing in Canada.
That's a lot of games for a ten year old.
