There are these two girls at Albion who dress exactly alike every single day. I am not exaggerating. Exactly. The. Same. Here are their typical weekly outfit trends:
Monday: Jeans, light-colored hooded zip-up, plain tee shirt and straightened hair day.
Tuesday: Jean skirt, leggings, and Hollister sweatshirt day. Hair messy; up.
Wednesday: Letter day! Black sorority sweatpants rolled up to the calf. Running shoes. Same panhel tee shirt, but different colors (!). Matching white sorority baseball caps with hair DOWN.
Thursday: Sweatpants again (Wednesday = major drinking night). The basic Albion ones from the bookstore. One grey, one black, NOT rolled. Black North Faces, Pumas.
Friday: Plain long-sleeved tee shirts and jeans. Long beaded necklaces. Black flip flops. Ponytails; high. Green eyeshadow.
We've also noticed that they eat the exact same things in the cafeteria, and word on the street is that they're in the exact same classes. They're both in a certain sorority and are apparently quite bitchy, although I've never spoken to either of them. For the most part, I'm fine with this.
However, I do find their habits compelling. I want to know if they surrender their individuality unconsciously, or if they actually wake up in the morning and consult about the exact manner in which each of them are going to behave simultaneously throughout the day. Does one of them call the shots in this relationship, or do they like take turns deciding on the jewelry of the day? Honestly, why is this happening?!
This has been the frequent topic of my roommates' hushed cafeteria delegations. We're always daring each other to go up to them and ask what the deal is. I mean, it could be brought up in casual conversation. Something as simple as "Wow, you guys match today! Did you plan that?".
I just want to know.

Have you heard the word eskiho? I heard it a few days ago. It isn't nice, but stretch pants under parkas seriously don't make sense in Michigan winter. Top half is sensible, bottom half - not so much.
Maybe they are robots? You should ask them that too!
