I've waited weeks to hear whether or not I'd made a team. I've waited months to hear what colleges I'd been accepted to.
But I feel like I've been waiting my entire life to find out what I'll be doing this summer.

You should call them and tell what you'll be doing this summer. Sell yourself - them what you can do.
I mean "tell" them what you can do.

i don't know if telling them what you can do is the best tactic. i told them what i can do, and they gave the ideas to somebody else.
therefore, i don't really know how to play the situation either, em.
Well, good point. However, not engaging in a dialogue is going to get you back in a cabin I'd imagine. Remember, no-one there now ever saw you work.
