Going to the bathroom is an enormous waste of time. If the average person spends 5 minutes a day in the bathroom (actually going, not including showering, primping or other bathroom activities), that means we spend an average of 30.4 hours per year on and/or standing near a toilet. That is a whole day and 6 hours that you could be using to do something worthwhile, like curing AIDS. It could be argued that we "waste" much more time per year sleeping, but I personally find sleeping infinitely more enjoyable than going to the bathroom, which is a fairly inconvenient task. How many times have you missed something important because you were in the loo? How many times have you been in a crowd or in a car with a full bladder and no restroom in sight? It really is just obnoxious.
Going to the bathroom is detrimental to human quality of life. Heck, forget curing AIDS. I'm going to concentrate on curing the bladder. I think everything else will fall into place after that.
